Two strand twists….

Tonight I twisted my hair all over. Below is a photo of my end result. Please pardon the product that is still in my hair…I can be a little heavy handed :). My last post was of a two-strand twist out which is pretty much what my hair will look like tomorrow morning when I take out my twists.

How I got this look:

I used 3 products: Carol’s Daughter Tui Leave-In Conditioner, Carol’s Daughter Loc Butter, and Carol’s Daughter Healthy Hair Butter

  • Healthy Hair butter is to ensure hair will be soft and moisturized when I take the twists out
  • Loc Butter is to give a light hold and reduce frizz
  • Leave-In Conditioner to refresh hair and to dampen hair

I did the twists on damp hair because I find my hair to be more manageable and easier to style when it is damp.

Tip: the longer hair remains twisted the better (more well-defined) the twist-outs will look.

Tonight I am going to cover my head with a satin bonnet. This will keep the moisture in my hair and also protect my twists.

Tomorrow morning I will take my twists out and probably style my hair in a fro-hawk (not sure on the fro-hawk yet). I will post a picture of what the twists look like after a night’s sleep and then of the twist out as well….
