Mariah Carey confirms pregnancy
It has finally been confirmed that Mariah Carey is pregnant. Thursday (earlier today) morning Carey laid the rumors to rest on the Today show. Needless to say Carey and hubby Nick Cannon are ecstatic about the baby on board.
After months of eluding to parenthood and baby talk by both Cannon and Carey the couple is now officially going public with the pregnancy. Carey, 41, and Cannon, 30, gave a three part Access Hollywood interview. During which Carey divulges that she had a miscarriage two years ago.
They both exclaimed, “The greatest gift on earth is a child.”
I couldn’t be more excited to hear the news. Carey is finally having a child and with a man she loves- its romantic. A good fairytale is what sweet dreams are made of and Mariah Carey finally finding mister right and now having a child is just that. Nevermind her age because I am sure that she is beyond thankful at this point that after years of trying to get pregnant she is finally sporting a “baby bump.”
Truly, no dream is too big. I think this proves that age should never be a deterrent when it comes to…everything. Mariah Carey is 41 and pregnant! This is nonetheless her first child. She is a woman who to an outsider had it all: fame, fortune, hit records, a husband who adores her, and a unique voice that cannot be duplicated. What was missing? A child.
Some never stop dreaming. I think that is a good thing. I was watching The Monique Show last night and Debbie Allen was a guest. She said something along the lines of: never stop dreaming because it keeps you going.
There has been this question I have been plagued with for sometime: what do you do when all your dreams have come true? Now I have my answer: dream more.
